These Purchase, Refund & Exchange Terms (Shop Terms) apply to goods purchased from Hillform Studio Inc through hillform.com.au. They should be read together with the product description, checkout information, Hillform’s Privacy Statement and any specific terms displayed for a product.
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Delivery, collection or other charges will be shown before checkout where they apply. Payment must be made using an available payment method on the Website. Hillform may use third-party payment providers to process transactions.
Hillform aims to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours can appear differently across devices and screens. Handmade, artist-made, natural-material or small-batch goods may have reasonable variations in colour, texture, dimensions, finish or detail. A reasonable variation that is inherent in the product and consistent with its description is not necessarily a defect.
Any material limitation, edition information, care requirement or known variation that is important to the purchase should be read before ordering. Custom, commissioned or personalised goods may have additional terms stated on the product page or quote.
Available delivery and/or collection options, charges and estimated timeframes will be shown on the relevant product page or at checkout. Delivery estimates are estimates only unless Hillform expressly guarantees a date. Hillform will take reasonable steps to dispatch or make goods available within the stated or otherwise reasonable timeframe.
The purchaser is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and collection information. If a parcel is returned because the address supplied was incorrect or the parcel was not collected, Hillform may charge reasonable re-delivery costs before sending it again, unless the failure was caused by Hillform or its delivery provider.
Risk in physical goods passes to the purchaser when the goods are delivered to the nominated address or collected from Hillform. Title passes once Hillform has received full payment.
In addition to rights under Australian Consumer Law, Hillform offers the following discretionary change-of-mind policy for eligible goods:
Change-of-mind returns are not available for custom, commissioned or personalised goods; perishable goods; goods that cannot be resold for hygiene or health reasons once opened; digital goods once supplied where applicable; or items clearly identified before purchase as final sale. These exclusions apply only to change-of-mind returns and do not limit rights for faulty or non-compliant goods.
Goods sold by Hillform come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the nature of the problem, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy. Hillform will not rely on a change-of-mind exclusion or “final sale” statement to remove a statutory right.
If an item arrives damaged, is incorrect or appears faulty, please email info@hillform.com.au as soon as reasonably practicable with your order details and, if helpful, photographs of the issue. Prompt notice — ideally within 7 days for transit damage — helps Hillform investigate with the delivery provider, but it does not remove any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
Before returning an item, email info@hillform.com.au or contact Hillform using the details published on hillform.com.au so we can provide return or collection instructions. Unless the item is being returned because of a problem for which Hillform is responsible under law, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring the return is safely packed and bears the return delivery risk and cost.
Where Hillform is responsible for providing a remedy for a faulty or non-compliant product, Hillform will meet reasonable return or collection costs where required by law.
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method unless another method is agreed or required. Hillform will process an approved refund within a reasonable period, but the time taken for funds to appear may also depend on the purchaser’s financial institution or payment provider.
Store credits issued under the discretionary change-of-mind policy may have reasonable use conditions stated when the credit is issued. Nothing in those conditions affects a statutory refund or other remedy.
If you ask to cancel an order before it has been dispatched or made ready for collection, Hillform will try to accommodate the request. If the order has already been dispatched or substantially prepared, the request may instead be handled under the change-of-mind policy, unless another consumer right applies.
Nothing in these Shop Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, condition, warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law. If there is any inconsistency between these Shop Terms and a non-excludable statutory right, the statutory right prevails.
For order, return or refund enquiries, email info@hillform.com.au or contact Hillform using the details published at hillform.com.au. These Shop Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any rights available to consumers under applicable law.
